Located in Santa Barbara, the Milo Hotel is always expected to keep its aesthetic fresh and trendy. For their latest refresh, their designer envisioned a serene and coastal-inspired style to elevate the space. Inspired by the elegance and grace of the native Southern Californian great blue heron, a concept was born. Once presented with this idea, LW Contract’s art department worked hand-in-hand with the design team to bring it to life. At LW, we offer our design team free of charge to enable designs to flourish. Our artists created detailed mockups, refining each rendition to align perfectly with the designer’s aesthetic goals and The Milo’s brand atmosphere.
The final result was a pair of stunning custom wall murals showcasing two unique versions of herons in flight. The artwork adds a sophisticated yet tranquil focal point to the newly updated guest rooms, tying together the natural beauty of the surrounding environment with the hotel’s modern design. This collaboration between Milo, the design team, and LW Contract, resulted in a timeless piece that not only complements the space but enhances the overall guest experience through custom design done to perfection.
