Family History

Manufacturing excellence that spans 3 generations and more than 50 years!

Our processes are pollution free, and include regular recycling. All of our woven canvas options are PVC-free, contain no harmful phthalates or chemicals and meet California Code 1350.

In addition to digital printing, our “Grandpa’s factory” provides our top-of-the line woven Artist Canvas which we use for wall murals and gallery wrap artwork. Grandpa also developed a state-of-the-art proprietary adhesive back-coating which is used for products like the world's best painter’s tape, specialized industrial uses and our own Peel & Stick self-adhesive option for murals and wallcoverings. LW Contract is also the direct mill representative for one of the oldest and most respected Type II commercial wallcovering manufacturers in the United States.

Our Roots

Our humble beginnings trace back to an Italian immigrant with the family name Spina renamed to be Speeney when entering the United States at Ellis Island, New York. Fast forward 2 generations and Mike Jr. who settled in the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia marks the origin of generations of family manufacturing and commerce.

The latest generation of brothers Mike IV and Shawn took many years of family knowledge and experience in printing, adhesives and manufacturing and combined them into applications for modern day wall murals, wallcovering and canvas artwork.
